Q2 2024 Performance of Top iOS Virtual Fitness Programs in the US

In Q2 2024, the iOS platform saw significant activity in the virtual fitness space. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we can observe the performance of the leading fitness applications during this period.

Starting with komoot - hike, bike & run, the app experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $35K in early April and late May, with a notable dip to around $22K in late April and early June. Downloads peaked at approximately 4.6K in early May, while weekly active users saw a high of nearly 30K in the same period.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike showed an upward trend in revenue, starting at around $33K and soaring to nearly $66K by the mid of June. The app's downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak at 4.3K in mid-April. Weekly active users hovered around 25K, reaching just over 26K by the end of June.

For AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run, revenues rose from approximately $7K to $12K in May, with a subsequent decline to around $8.6K by the end of June. Downloads varied, with a peak at 2.3K in early May, and the active user count ranged from around 3.3K to 4.4K throughout the quarter.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit saw its revenue move from about $10K to $11K in mid-April, followed by a drop to around $6K in June. Downloads showed a decreasing trend, from 2.4K at the quarter's start to just over 1K by mid-June. Weekly active users started at approximately 7.3K and grew to 8.2K towards the quarter's end.

Lastly, Garmin Connect™, while not generating revenue, maintained a strong presence in weekly active users, starting at around 104K and increasing to 106K by the quarter's close. Downloads saw a slight peak at 1.5K in late May, with some fluctuations throughout the period.
